Video Rotation Fixer began with a real recording problem: a phone saved correct landscape pixels but added an incorrect rotation flag, causing editors and converters to turn the finished video sideways. The original Windows utility solved that specific problem with FFmpeg. This website makes the same essential workflow available in a browser.
Built around privacy
Your selected video is processed on your own device. It is not uploaded to this WordPress server. That design reduces waiting, removes account requirements, and keeps personal recordings under your control.
What the tool does
The browser app can normalize phone orientation, rotate frames, choose a practical output resolution and frame rate, set a target bitrate, preserve or remove audio, and produce a fresh MP4 download. It also gives a conservative size estimate before processing starts.
What it cannot do
No tool can restore audio that was never recorded. Removing music cleanly from a mixed game-audio track may require specialist source separation and can create artifacts. Large or long videos can also exceed a browser or device memory limit; the desktop build remains better for multi-gigabyte recordings.
